Tuba and I had a muffin bake-off today. Tuba baked these
Apple Oatmeal Muffins replacing the 1 cup of flour with 1 cup of
Thomasmehl and added extra milk by feel until the batter reached a nice consistency (the
Thomasmehl dried out the batter). We used
Bob's Red Mill GF Oatmeal we brought in from the states. The muffins had a nice sweet apple cinnamon taste and were favored by the kids and me over the blueberry muffins I baked following the Joy of Cooking recipe.
